Dear Friends -

I am very much looking forward to dancing in NOIR, featured in the Village Voice spring preview (see below) as well as in Vogue and Time Out New York. NOIR is a site-specific dance installation by Canadian choreographer Noemie Lafrance, winner of two Bessie Awards.

Performed in a parking garage, NOIR invites the audience to view the dance installation through the windshields of parked cars. Inspired by 1940's American film noir and performed by ten dancers, this adventurous and provocative choreography examines themes of suspense and love...

NOIR will be performed Wednesdays through Saturdays, 7:30 and 9:30pm, May 5-22, in the Delancey & Essex Municipal Parking Garage at 105 Essex Street in the Lower Eastside, Manhattan (F/J/M/Z to Delancey/Essex).
